Hello! My Name is Amy Thompson. I have worked at Accountable for over 11 years. I was initially hired to do the marketing of our job orders on the various job board sites. However, over the years my job has morphed into only working on the order entry side and eventually taking over the order entry department. Prior to Accountable I worked in various non-profit clinics as a Medical Assistant. Shortly after accepting the position at Accountable, I also accepted a part-time position at a Pathology lab. My time at the lab included me working as a histotech, general lab assistant, and gross room assistant. I continued this part time position up until the point that I took over the order entry department. Prior to my healthcare experience, I was enlisted in US Army as an Aviation Operations Specialist. As an AOS I maintained flight/aircraft records, aircraft communications and aircraft tracking. During my time in the Army, I was also deployed to Kuwait and Iraq in 2006.

I also have 2 boys age 15 and 11. These two take up a majority of my spare time with their various activities. Together, we enjoy playing games, watching movies/tv shows, swimming and just generally having fun and not taking life too seriously.
